Project
„Werkstrom“

In collaboration with the Frauenhofer Gesellschaft, project team “prozessinnovation” of the University of Bayreuth, the chemical company B. Bigler AG, the technology company ISB and the design office Hering, Jacob-Baumann worked on the research project “werkstrom”. The goal was to develop a flexible and customer specific process chain for the production of PET hollow packaging plastics.

This network of specialists in the plastics industry, in conjunction with the Frauenhofer Geesellschaft, promises a pioneering fundamental work of optimizing complex processes of making PET hollow plastics.
